Orders and Shipping

How long does an order take to ship?

RPBA works hard to bring you the best products at the best prices. To achieve this, we work with a variety of suppliers, which we update regularly to ensure competitive pricing.

Please allow 1–3 weeks for shipping. Most items will arrive sooner.

Some items are made to order and may take longer than three weeks. If this applies, it will be noted in the product description.

Will all my items arrive at once?

To ensure the fastest delivery, your items may arrive separately. You will not be charged extra for separate shipments.

How much is shipping?

  • Orders under $99: Flat-rate shipping fee of $10 (regardless of location).
  • Orders over $99: Free shipping.

What happens if my order is cancelled?

While cancellations are rare, some orders may require changes or substitutions. It is essential to provide both your email address and contact number at checkout so we can reach you if necessary.

If your order needs to be cancelled, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

Do you offer discounts or promo codes?

Only for RPBA members who have access to exclusive discount codes. These can be found in the RPBA Members-Only Section.

Do you offer international shipping?

Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

What if my order is delayed or lost?

We will keep you updated on your order status. If there are significant delays or shipping issues, we will contact you and arrange a reshipment if necessary.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox.

Returns and Refund Policy

Overview

Thank you for shopping with Responsible Pet Breeders Australia. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet expectations. Our returns and refunds policy aligns with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure fair and transparent service.

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

Consumer Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the product fails to meet acceptable quality standards but the issue is not a major failure, we will repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.

Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty
  • Significantly different from the description
  • Not fit for its intended purpose
  • Unsafe

You are entitled to a refund or exchange. If the issue is minor, we may repair or replace the item.

How to Return an Item

RPBA only processes returns for damaged or faulty items.

To initiate a return, contact us at:

Please provide:
✔ Proof of purchase
✔ A description of the issue (with photos if possible)
✔ Whether you prefer a refund or replacement

We may assess the product to determine the extent of the issue.

Shipping for Returns

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If a refund is approved, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Processing Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days, credited to your original payment method.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your credit card company – it may take some time for the refund to be posted.
  • Contact your bank – there may be processing delays.

If you have completed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us.

Exceptions

For health and hygiene reasons, certain items are non-returnable, including:

❌ Custom-made items
❌ Perishable goods
