Why it works

• Open mesh, not a solid panel. A Golden already runs hot under a double coat in an Australian summer. A harness that traps a slab of nylon against the ribcage makes it worse.
• Wide straps sit above the coat line. Narrow webbing parts the topcoat and packs the undercoat down, which is exactly how a mat starts behind the elbow.
• Four-point adjustment to hold shape on a deep chest and narrow waist without riding back into the loin.
• Reflective on both sides for early and late walks.

Sizing

Measure the chest at its widest, behind the front legs. Most adult Golden Retrievers take L or XL. Brush the girth line through before and after fitting.
