Why it works

The mat is breathable enough for a summer window and holds warmth in winter, which is the point of a north facing perch in a cold room.

Fitting it

Clean the glass first and press each cup down hard. Suction holds best on cool, clean glass. Check the cups every few weeks, particularly through summer.
