Never feed a cold pup by any method, since the gut shuts down below normal body temperature; warm the pup slowly first, using a warming setup if you have one.

Using a Tube Kit Safely

This is a technique to learn from your vet or an experienced breeder in person, ideally before you need it, not from a video at 3am. The essentials are measuring and marking the tube against the pup so you know the depth, passing it gently without force, delivering warmed milk replacer slowly, and stopping at the volume the pup's size calls for rather than filling until it stops. Weigh on gram accurate scales before and after feeds and keep a written record. Sterilise everything between pups, and treat any resistance, coughing or bubbling as a reason to stop and reassess with your vet.
